Miramar Beach, Fla., (Sept. 25, 2019) – Grand Boulevard at Sandestin introduces “Autumn in Motion,” a month-long celebration of the season, with new weekly events and entertainment for the entire family. The Town Center backdrop includes decorations of elaborate fall-themed rotating vignettes on various corners and in Grand Park.
Fall Flicks Golf Cart Drive-In, Every Tuesday
Oct. 1 – 29, Sunset
Golf carts rule in Grand Boulevard’s Town Center and now they – and their owners – have their very own weekly entertainment event. Every Tuesday, a free family-friendly movie will be shown on the large North Park green beginning at sunset. Those without golf carts can still enjoy the show, just bring a chair or blanket to the designated area for a fun night out.
Wellness Wednesdays, Every Wednesday
Oct. 2 – 30, 9 AM
Hosted by Grand Fitness, this complimentary 50-minute group fitness class takes place in Grand Park at 9 AM. It’s the perfect way to kick-start your mid-week while focusing on your overall wellness before the holiday glut.
Styling Your Table: Tablescaping for Special Occasions
Oct. 11 & 12, Hosted by Green Thumb Garden Club
The fall and winter seasons are full of celebrations taking place around the dinner table. Get inspired by creative ideas for your next special occasion while touring unique designs and décor at this free event. Enjoy award-winning tablescapes, educational seminars and upcoming trends from the area experts, including designers from Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie and Tommy Bahama.
Best of the Emerald Coast
Saturday, Oct. 19, 6 PM – 9 PM
Benefiting the Junior League of the Emerald Coast
Join Emerald Coast Magazine and Grand Boulevard for an evening of celebrating as the 2019 “Best of the Emerald Coast” winners are showcased. This 20th annual event will be a night of food, fashion and fun as the best restaurants, retailers and businesses on the Emerald Coast are sampled. Tickets can be purchased here.
Barktoberfest
Thursday, Oct. 24, 5 PM – 7 PM
Dress you four-legged friends in their Halloween finest and enjoy a free canine-only trick-or-treating event and doggie social benefiting Dog-Harmony. Judging for the best “Pet & Parent Matching Costume” contest will take place during the event with the prize-winning duo announced at 6:30 PM. Guests will enjoy light bites, libations, a raffle drawing and lawn games.
Halloween on the Boulevard
Thursday, Oct. 31, 4 PM – 6 PM
Families are invited to trick-or-treat throughout the Town Center on Halloween where stores and restaurants will pass out candy and other treats to children. Dress up in your favorite costume and fill your bag in a safe pedestrian-friendly place.
“The Fantasticks”
Sept. 26 – Oct. 6, Presented by Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC)
Transport yourself to a world of moonlight and magic this fall. ECTC opens its seventh annual season on the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast with a magical production of one of the most beloved musicals on Broadway — “The Fantasticks.” Performances take place in 560 Grand Boulevard, upstairs. For ages 12 and older. Tickets can be purchase here.
“Pinkalicious the Musical”
Oct. 25 – 27, Presented by Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC)
Based on the popular book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann. You’ll be “tickled pink” with this tale, of Pinkalicious, who can’t stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Based on the popular children’s book Pinkalicious, “Pinkalicious the Musical” is about learning the power of self-control and the importance of moderation, important life lessons to learn by all ages. A family show for ages 3 and up. Tickets can be purchased here.
Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market
Saturdays throughout the year, 9 AM – 1 PM
The outdoor market features dozens of unique vendors offering mostly locally sourced food-based items such as produce, eggs, milk, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, local honey, pickled vegetables, and gourmet jams. Prepared foods to go include tomato pies, hummus, pasta, tuna dip and crab cakes. Soaps and lotions are also sold. The Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market takes place in Grand Park, between Cantina Laredo and Tommy Bahama.
